People from around the globe search for diverse and interesting places to learn languages. South Africa offers a unique space to be taught in because there is so much to experience. From basic language courses to TFL courses to advance flight orientated English lessons, we offer it all.
The schools themselves are integrated and involved in a much larger tourism and specifically youth tourism sector. The students seek to explore the country in their free time, weekends off and before and after their courses. Language Schools form a vital part in linking international tourists to our market. Almost all students will travel in their time here. They will do tours. They will use transport. They will use a variety of accommodation from Student Homes, Backpackers, B&B’s all the way through to Game Lodges. They often go on to volunteer or study in South Africa.
These threads that tie us all together are the reason the youth tourism fabric in South Africa is so strong.
EduSA, TATSA, BSA and the Voluntourism sectors came together to form partnerships and innovate, to build a stronger and more robust industry.
